Studienfahrt nach England

Last week we went on an educational trip. It was really beautiful.

We went by bus for twelve hours which was very exhausting. By ferry we reached the isle and went straight to Canterbury. There we visited the museum with the Canterbury Tales and went shopping in this beautiful old town.
In the afternoon we went to Hastings .First we had a look at the pier and then waited for our host families.
Me and my friend lived at an old woman's. She was really nice and tough. Although she was quite old she managed her household all by herself.
On the second day we visited the smugglers' caves in Hastings and had a look at Hasting Castle.
We also visited Leeds Castle and had lots of fun there.
Every day we got lunch packets from our host families so we did not have to buy anything to eat.
On the third day we went to Beachy Head and the view and the landscape were amazing.
Unfortunately the weather was very bad and it was windy.
On our last day we got up early,took our suitcases to the bus and went to London. There we visited Shakespeare's Globe. Then we had time to go shopping and to visit other sights.
All in all I can say that the trip was really nice. I learned a lot and the people were so friendly.
