We`re
convinced about the idea of educational trips, because we think that learning
is not limited to classrooms and textbooks. That`s why we were excited about
the trip to South England.
Critics asked questions
like “Is going on holiday ok in schooltime?” or “Can students really miss one
week of school?”`.
Our English teachers talked
a lot about the British Way of Life, but having a traditional English breakfast
in the morning, drinking tea or exploring an English castle like Leeds Castle
ourselves was a great experience and completely different.
Considering that new tutor
groups had been formed at the beginning of the school year the long bus tour
and living together with host families strengthened our team spirit a lot.
The highlight of our tour
was the trip to London, an amazing city with lots of sights and opportunities,
which we all used according to our interests.
After this trip we can say
that despite of being away from school we were taught many lessons.
